Horrendous
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/15/10
Checked in @ 5PM, room was "unavailable." They "upgraded: us to the Presidential Suite for the night. It smelled damp & had a purifier in the room. They failed to tell us previous guest had overflowed jacuzzi & flooded room as well as one below it (probably my room that was unavailable). Had booked a room with 2 queen beds, but was now in a room with 1 king, a cot & a pull out couch. The building was under construction during our stay & buckets were placed throughout building catching h20 leaking throughout lobby. Finally, after 1 night stay, my son found a used bandaid in his bed which was not his. Only good thing was that they let us check out after 1 night with no penalty.

Nice but you'll pay....
By Rip, 8/5/10
Everything was good. Immediate check in even though I was early. Upgraded to the presidential suite for $75. Nice big suite. 2 flatscreens. Kitchen, sitting room , fireplace - really nice. Like they said in previous reviews, A beautiful view. Now the negatives - The couch and chair in the sitting room in front of the big windows were terribly stained. Didn't even want to use them. It didn't seem like a big deal at first, there was a big spider on the outside of the window. No big deal right? But as night came on every window, 8 of them, had spiders climbing on the outside. Gets a little weird trying to look at the falls and seeing spiders. Not sure what can be done about this.. And the price. Its nice but way too expensive. Would I stay again? Hmmm Probably not. At least not at these prices...

BAD TREATMENT AT SHERATON FALLSVIEW.
I booked a holiday at Sheraton 4 rooms for 4 different families.. We got there @2.55 pm to check in @ 3.00pm.We got 3 rooms the forth room was not available. We did not get our room until 4:55pm. I kept asking them why were we told to check in @ 3.00pm and can't get a room, they were very rude with their responses. They said that check in was from 3 - 6 pm. I asked them since we did not get our room as promised on time, if we will be able to check out around 1.00 the next day, they said no. I asked if there were some gratuatity or discount for the inconvenience. They said no. TRheir attitude was very unpleasent. ALL OF US WHO EXPERIENCED THAT TREATMENT AT SHERATON WILL NOT BE VISITING ANY SHERATON AGAIN..ESPECIALLY FALLSVIEW. VERY RUDE PEOPLE.

Ah..peace and quiet....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/21/09
I really liked this hotel . I didn't know it's exact location but was so glad it was NOT near Clifton Hills where all the 'action is. I wanted a little of both and I got it. This hotel had a great room/meals 2 night package. We didn't have a fallsview room but we didn't mind because there are views on the same floor (12th) in a huge picture window. Also, on the 3rd floor it's all open and you can sit and enjoy the outdoors and the great view of the Falls. All in all we LOVED our weekend ! :)

Had a great time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/12/09
We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Fallsview. We had a Fallsview room that was just beautiful. The room was newly renovated and spotless. The beds were extremely comfortable, I have nothing bad to say about our stay. Would definately go back.

Shop Around
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/29/09
Overall, my summary of our stay would be "over priced , underserviced and unfair". The restuarant menu is way over priced $42.00 for a steak . The quality of food and service was very poor! 2 of 4 elavators worked so we often had to walk the 16 flights of stairs. The to add insult to injury we booked in advance , encouraged friends to join us,. Got identical vacation packages, room etc and we were charged $50.00 more at checkout??? Do your homework and shop around , there are better places to stay!

The place to stay at the Falls
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/27/07
There was nothing to dislike at the hotel. Breathtaking view of the Falls with wall to wall floor to ceiling glass. The suite was very comfortable and it was a pleasure to just sit in the room during the evening and watch the sun go down and then the illumination of the Falls. Service and facilities were very good though on-site parking was not always easy. Hope to get back there next year.
