Vila Gale Cascais, Cascais

The Vila Gale is located about a 15 minute walk downhill from the town, the beach is even further. Bear in mind it is an uphill walk back so it takes even longer. The rooms are clean and a good size. However we were kept awake many evenings from loud music from the bar opposite. So if you stay here ensure you pay extra for a sea view otherwise your sleep pattern will be disturbed. The staff were efficient but impersonal. Breakfast was very good and there was a nice swimming pool. if we returned to Cascais we would find a hotel that was more central.

Stayed Sept 07 for 4 nights. Staff were great and hotel was very clean. Overall stay was very quiet and pleasant but a little noise from the street and nightclub in ocean view rooms that did bother light sleepers in my group (not me!) Five euro cab ride to center Cascais or 15 min walk. Would stay there again - safe bet!

The hotel has a nice location. It's not far from the city center and it's close to the sea and is next to the park. So it's a good place to have a rest from a noisy busy cities. The staff is helpfull and friendly.

Great location - Could hear the waves from our 4th floor room - Front desk staff very helpful and knowledgable - Excellent service in every way from laundry to pool services and friendly staff. Loved the whole Cascais experience - Look forward to returning to this hotel many many times!
