Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale-Weston, Weston

the staff was very helpful and professional during my lenghty stay. Food, rooms and pool were great. There is also great fishing right behind the hotel.

Nice and easy place, clean and silent. Nice people the service was incredible.

Late checkin!!!! that steams me. However it was a nice 3 week stay. Location is great right off the interstate, and very close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are clean and well maintained. I dont know what their problem was in January when the guys that wrote the last reviews stayed there. Breakfast was good, I never took in the manager reception but they had a grill so me and a work buddy used that pretty often. Full kitchen (minus the oven) cooktop, full size fridge, plenty of dishes, free internet, nice large bed in seperate bedroom. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and well maintained. Rooms cleaned every day by staff. Can't remember if there were dishwashers or not call and ask if you really need it. Good for family vacation or business alike. If ft lauderdale is your destination keep in mind that if you stay at this hotel you are about a good 30 mins from the beach and thats with a gps and clear traffic.

This hotel needs help in order to maintain Marriott standards. When you check in, they dont give you the room you reserved. When you arrive at your room and find the toilet doesnt work because the parts are broke, they tell you the public restroom, because no one is available to fix it till the next morning. When they still cant fix it, they spend 6 hours getting approval from management to move to you to new room. The breakfast is poor and cheap. They use the hotel as a outside training center for other companies so outside employees frequently raid the breakfast and happy hour leaving the hotel guests will little food. The happy hour consists of a warm pitcher of beer and a wine carafe and pasta. Thats it. The fire alarm malfunctioned during our stay waking up guests early in the morning. The guests stood outside for a long time with no explanation for the hotel staff on what to do. Poor employee training. The pool area is unclean and not maintain. Parking lot very crowded due to outside company employee training. The hotel is full of sugar ants. It takes many calls to get them to fix anything, Solution to ant problem was to spray everything in the room with Raid including clothing leaving ants everywhere. If your going to stay someplace in Weston Florida, try another hotel. This hotel was one of the worst Marriotts I've stayed at in the last 5 years.
