Find Somewhere Else To Stay

We paid $239 a night for this hotel. The staff was cold and unfriendly. The cleaning staff was lounging around in the hallways during check out time, and at the front desk, flirting with the check in employees - very unprofessional. They charged $5 a day for the WIRED internet service, which was about the speed of DIAL UP. The 11 pm to 7 am shift did not have a manager on duty, so there was no one to handle your complaints, they had to wait until the morning to deal with them. There are no restaurants within walking distance, you are at the end of the marina, nothing but trucks and boat dealers - don't let the photos on the website fool you. The food in the hotel is rather expensive, well prepared, but for where you are staying, you don't have much of a choice, most places close early, as there isn't much around to choose from. The wine choices inside the hotel are very over priced. Oh, the kicker - eveytime we left for the day, the clock radio was changed from the FM, english speaking radio station we had it on, to an AM, spanish speaking radio station. I guess the maid felt she was in there long enough that she had enough time to listen to the radio! Be sure to use that in-room safe!!!
