This is not the "SHERATON" ..... atleast nothing like any other Sheratons I've stayed at in the past. Carpets in hallways here are absolutely filthy and stained everywhere. Am absolutely unable to do any work using the hotels internet access provided to guests. Imagine..... it's less that 1mb upload/download speed! Tha average home these days has 10-20mb internet connection speeds. The friendly staff doesn't make up for this hotel's shabbyness......... I would stay away from it.

Never going to stay here again

Good: The people that work at this hotel are very nice and very helpful. The hotel is close to the airport and easy acces to the freeway. BAD: The hotel was stink, you can smell it as soon as you walk into the elevator. The hallways are dirty with watermark all over the places. I have to covered my nose and open the window as soon as I walk into the room. The smell starting from the elevator and getting worse and worse as I walked torward the room, as soon as I open the room, the smell was so dense that I almost turned around and check myself out of the hotel.

Nice but awkward

Lobby access is very inconvenient with luggage, especially for seniors or those with heavy or many luggage pieces. Room was nice, but not up to par with other Four Points Sheratons...eg, bedding, pillows, room and bath size...However, given the online price, the hotel is worth it if your SURE of your travel dates. If your not, youÂ´re out of luck and there are NO REFUNDS. Yahoo only provides you warning that there may be no refund, but conveniently will not inform you ahead of time on-line... before you are booked that is...whether you will be able to get a refund or not and itÂ´s MOST LIKELY NO REFUND.

Throw in a little more for the $$$

I, also, felt the amenities were a little lacking. The majority of the staff I encountered were wonderful, with the exception of the desk staff ~ who were just a little snooty! The inhouse restaurant was great, but a little more variety would have been nice. Room service was excellent, but pickup of dirty dishes was delinquent. The pattern on the hallway carpets was a little, well, disturbing to the eyes - LOL.

We will be staying here again on our next trip back.

Exceptional service, front desk staff at check in recommended a better rate than my auto club rate. Stayed in a suite and it was very clean and nice. Well worth the value. Comfortable beds made it a good nights rest. Directly across the street from South San Francisco Conference Center. A short drive to fisherman's wharf and pier 39 and all other sites. Excellent meals at hotel cafe but a little pricey.

The room and the staff were "bland'...I've paid less and received more at a number of places in San Francisco
