Best Visit Ever
By Dee W, 04/28/09
I'm not sure why there are complaints about this motel, unless wanting a free nights stay. Can't blame you there. I've been to OC since I was little. We've stayed several places, but this one is above most at an affordable price. When visiting the OC, I want to hear and see the ocean, so I don't mind paying a little extra for the view. From the desk to housekeeping, they have been always been so helpful and always pleasant. I've stayed here the last three years of visiting. My two sister's and neice plan a trip every year, sometimes twice. Yeah, I'd like a free nights stay if possible, LOL, but I'm not going to be a complainer just to get it. Highly recommend!!!! PS: I also work at a hotel as manager in WV and hear all sorts of complaints, the best one ever was, " Your cable wire was loose and I tightened it, so I dont feel I should pay for last night". don't let negative reviews ruin your trip, they probably ruin their for their whole family.

Very Happy and Will Return
By Patti, 09/06/08
We recently spent a week in OC MD and stayed at this hotel. The rooms were wonderful and the beds very comfortable. With a almost 4 year old with us, the kids pool was the best. It had crazy times, but as a parent, we watched our child and did our best to keep her safe and we had a great week without any problems. Our stay was at the end of the summer season and the staff was bit thin, but they did a good job keeping everything running smooth. We will be back next year. A very family friendly hotel.

Seen better days : (
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/12/07
We've been staying here every year since they opened. Unfortunately the hotel has seen it's better days. The rooms are dirty. The bed covers have holes, the curtains and bed ruffles are stained as well as the rugs. The "pirate pool" is closed on a daily basis due to "accidents". The false fire alarms are still occurring in the night. So we need to carry our children down the smelly, dirty stairwells. It's ovbiously time to move on.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/07
fire evacuation down 4 flights of stairs to lobby, then found it was a false alarm--a beautiful hote, but a little pricey especially in off-season

Not that great.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/11/07
The view is lovely, but that rooms are poorly done. It's dirty and small, but the view is amazing. I went there last year, and the outside looked gorgeous, and the hotel too, but the rooms are just poor looking. Even the showers.

**COULDN'T MAKE A BETTER CHOICE**
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/07
This hotel was IDEAL! My family & I stayed on the ninth floor and our balcony view was absolutely worth the cost. Your paying for alot more than it seems. Our room had a lounge area with a tv, furniture, and table. Also had a kitchen with a stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and cabinets. Very large bathroom had a GREAT jacuzzi tub. The other room had the two double beds with another tv, and was the room connected to the balcony. The lounge area sofa also folds out into another bed, and also the room includes an internet jack. The hotel is also very nice inside and has wooden floors and crown molding. It was very clean and elegant. This place was great and I recommend it to everyone. It is right on the beach, you just can't get any closer. The boardwalk, stores and BEACH are literally at the backdoor and this provides so much to do you'll probably never even be in your room. I loved my stay at this hotel and plan to make more trips just to see Ocean City and I will most definitely stay here. It was awesome! Very close to everything else around the city, and of course picture perfect views. I'm sure hotels can't get much better. We were sad to leave and go to another regular old crummy hotel. This was really no comparison. Be prepared to regret ever staying anywhere else! Also had two nice pools and a hot-tub on the backside of the hotel, probably about 50 feet from the sand of beach, and the boardwalk. Also had indoor pool and very nice cafe. GREAT place for kids to have alot of fun! ENJOY!

Will stay again
By Dee W, 06/01/07
I really liked the location, everyone was helpful and nice. My sister is in a wheelchair, so they even hooked her playstation up for her. If your looking for a class rated hotel for resonable prices and friendly staff, this is the place. We had such a relaxing time, we want to go again. The only negative thing I can think of, their cleaning staff needs to speak more english. She couldn't understand us when we were telling her we didn't need anything.
