Okay
By TammyL, 12/16/08
We stayed here for 1 night before our flight out of LGA. The front desk was crowded with people checking in, but the 2 front desk people did not seem to care. The guy who was checking us in was obviously on a personal phone call while he was checking us in and appeared annoyed that we were standing there, waiting to be checked in with a small, sleepy child. The room was clean and comfortable, but when we turned on the heat, there was a burning smell coming from the heater for a minute or two. Overall, it was acceptable enough for a pre-flight stay, but nothing more.

Awesome!! We'll be back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/8/07
This hotel was very clean. The employees were very friendly and helpful!! The location was awesome too..it wasn't in Manhattan, but the hotel was only a few blocks from the subway station that could take you into Manhattan. I didn't get a chance to check out the pool or the restaraunt...but we'll be back!!!

Never again!
By Summer Moon, 10/24/05
Staff are rude and unhelpful. They did not honor the reservation, and we had to take a different kind of room because they were 'sold out'. Hotel is supposedly 'new' but appears to have been built very low budget in the 80's. There were no towels and no toilet paper holder in the room (toilet paper was put over on the side)! Bed was uncomfortable, and walls are paper thin. Could hear people talking in the next room, and doors slamming all night and morning. Wait staff in the restaurant were also rude and very slow. I would never stay here again.

Great value
By Lush, 6/6/05
This hotel is a great deal for people who want to avoid paying huge amounts of money to stay in Manhattan. The only inconvenience is the ride on the 7 train, probably 30-40 minutes altogether to get to Times Square. Just don't plan to go back to the room during the day and it won't be so bad to take that once there and back. The hotel itself is great, although the pool hours are rather limited if you want to go swimming. The bathrooms seem to have been recently remodeled and the rooms look nice. Even though you are near the airport, we never heard one plane the whole time we were there. If the Mets are in town you are right across the street, but other than that there isn't much in the immediate area except a few small restaurants. Great deal, and free shuttle from the airport.

Poor in service and quality
By April, 6/6/05
I've stayed at this hotel for business on several occasions. The staff members are not friendly. The rooms are always missing something (alarm clock, lamp, iron, TV). Once I was unable to obtain even a washcloth from the front desk at 8:00pm. There were none in my room and they said "Housekeeping is closed"! Can you imagine?!

Almost made the cut
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/7/05
This was a wonderful a hotel. Almost everything was great about it, for the exception of the location. The staff was wonderful. They provided great service and they were very friendly. The hotel was great also. The rooms were really nice and it was really quiet. The location wasn't really great because there were no other restaurants or activities near it, but being close to the airport was an advantage. Overall this was a pleasant stay and I would more than likely stay at this hotel the next time I visit.

Great airport hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/04
I spent one night in this hotel with my boyfriend and I must say that it was a great hotel. Very clean and great service. Not too noisy although near the airport, we had a good night sleep before leaving New York.
