Don't Stay Here!!!!!!
By Matthew, 11/03/09
We were in Anaheim for a cabling contract, and stayed with the Extended Stay America. Among all of the police raids, prostitutes and bad service......the dead guy topped it all. We were staying there on the fourth floor in early March-late April of 2008. My 16 Month old son and I came to our floor (fouth floor) and I almost fell to the floor with an awful smell I couldn't help but notice. We had already been there for about 2 weeks and in the few days prior to this particular day had noticed a really bad smell. We had complained about his smell for about 6 days and they said everything was fine, and that they would move us to another room. 2 days went by and still no new room. A few more days went by. The day I almost fell to the floor consisted of police blocking off the top floor of the hotel. The smell was sooooo awful I asked the first person I saw, which was a coroner. She said I should go to my room. I asked her what had happened and she said again go to your room. I then said MY CHILD IS HERE, SHOULD WE LEAVE? She said no and to go to our room. Feeling a little uneasy I went out and asked the officers what was going on, and they told me a man was dead. I said well OMG but, I know of most of the people on this floor, can I help? He showed me a picture and asked if I had seen the man in the photo; I said no. He said he had been dead at least 7 days. I think a hotel should keep some type of regulatory system on their rooms, and should at least drop off some towels every two days or so. After everything was said and done, I had been in the hallway talking with other people staying there, and had knelt down to pick something up. My pants were wet with something red, I freaked out. The office said that I should not worry. I then realized there was a huge blood stain all the way down the hallway and into the elevator from the coroner hauling the body off to the morgue. They stuck a bunch of air fresheners in the hallway to mask the smell. The fan that they stuck in the dead guys room fanned it out into the parking lot. It was an awful experience. I will never stay there again.

Good hotel & close to Disneyland
By L, 06/20/09
The staff that this Extended Stay was curtious and very helpful. It is close to Disneyland and also there is a bus that comes right next to the hotel to take you to Disneyland. What I didn't like again was the hard beds and pillows. I would go back to this hotel again.

Last Resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/08
to begin with...we should have slept on the floor-it would have been softer. this was the hardest bed i have ever slept (pun) on. the location is good, but that is the only good item about this hotel. maid service is only once a week so do not expect clean towels every day either. in a pinch this was okay...not quality by any means.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure everyone's stay is as wonderful as possible. the management as staff are very friendly. Rooms ae clean and location makes it very easy for people that are visiting Disney. Everyone should have a pleasant vacation and this is the place that makes you feel you are at home.

NEVER AGAIN!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/06
Made reservations for my family two weeks in advance .About 45 minutes before arriving I called to let them know we would be 1 hr. early they said it would be fine. After arriving we where informed they didnt have our room because one of there guest decided to stay another night. It turned out that they didnt even have reservations for that night we were told. After raising a fuss they told us that they would put us up in there other property over 2 miles away. I then got very angry then they gave us a room. Over the phone they also told us it was only one block away from Disneyland-we asked because we have small children and they were approx. a 30 min walk away-thats not a block!!! Cheap price yes but not worth it at all..........

You get what you pay for.
By TeeKay, 04/03/06
I booked this hotel a discount website. So I stayed here for $46 ($59 after taxes)that it was a great value. For the regular rate of $159 I woudl have been disappointed. The room was clean, and had a full size fridge and stove and microwave, as well as dishes and pots for cooking. We arrived late in the evening - after 9 p.m. and the staff was less than helpful about answering our questions about shuttles to Downtown disney or any other questions about nearby restaurants we had that night. We were without a rental car so it was a $30 cab ride to the airport and there were no fast food or convience stores nearby - closest was a mile away by Disneyland. However if you are staying with a family and have rental car and get a good price it is worth the money as long as you don't rely on the staff to be friendly or helpful. It is clean, has a pool, very close to Disney - adults could walk. But there is a bus Anaheim Rapid Transit that stops at all the hotels (right in the parking lot) and Disneyland - that you can buy passes for (and children ride free).

Great hotel, good value
By ocean0218, 02/01/06
I recently visited this hotel and amazed that nothing was like the last review stated. No cigarettes or holes. The room was clean. The service was great. TV and fridge were small but they were about the same size as in most hotels in its class. Full kitchen appliances. High speed internet. Laundry rooms, swimming pool. Shampoo and hair dryers were available at the front desk. Short walk distance to Disney Land. Buses pickup every 10 mins. I think it must be under new management. This place was wonderful for the price I paid comparing to other hotels around Anaheim. I will be back...
