Adams Family "Resort" in Florida
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/19/05
I have stayed in bad places before, but Lekarica is perhaps the worst place I have ever been. When you pull up onto the grounds, you see the view of the lake. This is the best thing about Lekarica, and the best thing that could happen to Lekarica is for it to be blown into the lake! The "suites" are nothing more than ancient ruins of a room. The rooms are musty, moldy and they stink. There are two wall-mounted air conditioners that are mounted in the bedroom and the living area that are stuffed with rags around them. The bathrooms are so small and dimly lit that you would have to go outside to change your mind. The decor is early Adams Family, and the carpet is basically the same. All in all, it is a place to avoid at all cost. On a postive note, the golf course looked adequate, if the price to pay was not too high. We did not stay there, we had reservations, looked at the rooms with the broken windows and leaky roofs, and left. Avoid this so-called "resort" at all cost.
