GM has an attitude. Rest of Staff ok
The first hour was a nightmare. Hotel was remodeling rooms. The first room they gave us (made reservations in May), all the furniture was in the middle of the room, No phone, lamps or linens. The second room, toilet was missing the seat and there was no handle on the patio window. Third room and final room, remote did not work and the toilet paper holder was not installed correctly. The desk clerk (Howard) went out of his way to try to make things right. Still a major pain moving from room to room to room after traveling all day. When I spoke to the GM (and I had to track him down couple days later) he did not offer an apology for our ‘adventure”, he did tell me I should be happy that I had a room and since I already was receiving a good rate he felt he did not need to do anything for me. Wow! Later on I discovered that I never even got my Marriott reward point for the stay. Room was nice but the GM’s attitude stunk.
