Worst hotel stay EVER.
I have never stayed at a more disgusting place in my life, and in my occupation, I travel a lot. I've stayed in everthing from the Hilton to Days Inn to mom-n-pop roadway inns. Let me tell you, this was my worst experience ever.
*No room key cards. You had to be let in your room by maintenance.
*Smells like cat urine in the hallway and room.
*Microwave didn't work. Stovetop busted. A/C in its death throes. As is the TV.
*snotty front-desk staff.
*pool closed; looks like the green lagoon with caution tape all around it.
*iron in the room was in two pieces, with mildew in the water tank.
* comforter stained, dirty.
*someone entered our room while we were out, and it was open when we returned. I called the front-desk, received an "oh, well!" type response.
*did not feel safe. Slept with mace on the bedstand.
*The "suite" was not a "suite" but more like a room with a kitchenette. Take a normal size room, add a kitchenette in one corner, and a tiny bathroom, and you have a "suite" at this hotel. For $130.
Stay at Fairfield Inn or Hattiesburg Inn on the Hill, instead. Both are cheaper, nicer, and the staff at those two hotels know how to treat customers. I wrote a longer review on this hotel at tripadvisor. Be sure to read that if you are thinking about staying at this place.
