Best Place to Stay in Custer
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/07
This hotel is about 7 years old, but it looks new as it is very well maintained. Our room was very large and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Our room overlooked the wooded hill out back and we saw deer out there several times during our four-day stay. The breakfast was more than adequate, though the breakfast room was crowded each morning we were there. There are several restaurants in Custer and it is very convenient to Custer State Park.

Best In Class
By Michael, 09/14/05
We loved this hotel. In this price range, it is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The room was spacious, nice, and clean. The staff were courteous and helpful, the price was right, it was conveniently located, the breakfast was great, the facilities were nice. It had one of the most impressive indoor pools I have ever seen in any price range. If we are ever in that area again, we will definitely stay at this Comfort Inn again. Highly recommended.

Glad we stayed the extra day...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/05
New, clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. Very pleased. Easy drive to Mt. Rushmore Custer State Park and Crazy Horse. Family friendly dining choices nearby. Plus a new mini golf course in front. Not to mention the kitschy Flintstone’s Bedrock City across the street. Custer is the place to stay when visiting the Black Hills. Although Keystone and Hill City are closer to the Rushmore monument, both are sorry looking and noisy tourist traps.
