Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Milwaukee, Milwaukee

I called the night before arrival to make sure we had 2 beds as we had a child with us, they told us we did. We checked in, got to our room, there was one bed. Had to go back down and request a different room. Moved rooms. Get into room, go to make coffe, one coffe cup (with 2 people). Go to walk into the bathroom and find a partial bottle of shampoo up in the corner of the shower. As I walk out of the bathroom I step on a steel pointy pin sticking ouf of the floor, it is where the strip goes between the bathroom floor and the carpet. (told the front desk person about it, and no one ever fixed it, had to put a towel over it so my grandaughter didnt step on it.) One light doesnt work in the room. We then come back from lunch, and remembered we did forget to take the do not disturb tag off of the door, so we called the front desk and told them we were going to the pool and they said housekeeping would come and take care of the room. She came in, took all of the towels, and left none. She didnt re-supply any cups or shampoo. So we called down to get some towels, she brought towels, and not one washcloth. So then we take a chance at the restaurant, we ordered 1 meal for my grandaughter, a steak dinner. Ordered it medium rare, it came to us, medium well, and the vegetables were cold. The jacuzzi does not work and there are 3 bubblers in the hallway, none of them work. I would not ever recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good experience was from the gentlemen that was working when we checked in, he was very pleasant! Lets see how long it takes for this to be removed from the complaints, because it looks like they are definitely filtered to leave only the good ones on here......

I stayed at the Holiday Inn at Layton for 2 weeks and the experience was excellent. The staff was nice and accomodating and the amenities were perfect. The rooms were so spacious and comfy that you would never want to leave, I swear! The distance from the airport and the quality of their food is great. There are other places to go to if you want something different and they are just in the vicinity of the airport. I am definitely going back and I will share my experience to everybody else I know.

I took my boys to Milwaukee for a hockey game and a sport card show and we stayed at the Holiday Inn and Suites. The location is next to the airport and there was some minor plane noise but not enough to be disturbing. There were many restaurants nearby with a Culver's in the parking lot. The room was standard size but clean and comfortable. The pool was great with a nice hot tub and game room. Access to the expressway was a few blocks away and we were minutes from downtown. I would stay here again.

I just liked everything about it. The service was out of this world. The rooms was so great. The pools and the hot tub was one of the best place to go in. The bar and the food was great right along with everything in the hotel. I will be coming back some time soon because I just LOVE IT their.
