Overhyped

I'll start with the positive - the room was immaculately clean, and I LOVE the Bliss products. Also, the bellhops were very attentive in terms of hailing cabs and assisting with luggage.
Cons:
1. No price lists anywhere for the minibar or Munchiebox.
2. One robe in a double room?
3. Malfunctioning heating/cooling system(blew out HOT air no matter what we did..) and a snarky attitude from the person who "finally" answered the "whenever" line - "Well, have you tried opening a window if you're warm?"
4. Odd elevator arrangement: you take 2 different elevator banks to enter or leave the hotel- more of an inconvenience.
5. Cheap Ikea-type room furnishings coupled with expensive touches
6. Missing or head-scratching amenities: no coffeepot, no garbage pail in actual room, no table or chairs (in an upgraded corner room!), the above mentioned one robe in a double room, a single, hidden drawer for storage
7. Awful lighting - I get the look they are going for, but sometimes a girl has to put on makeup!
8. See-through bathroom walls with a pocket door - we came for a romantic getaway, and sometimes you just want to hide the unsexy things. "Don't look.. are you looking?!?" Let's say I spent some time in the bathroom, in the dark.
9. Just okay towels - I've used more luxurious towels in hotels with fewer stars.
Overall, if you've never stayed in a luxury hotel, you will probably find this small, dark, cramped, "trendy" space acceptable. Otherwise, stay away - the "atmosphere" is not worth what we paid.
