Not within walking distance...

The price was just right. We booked the room to stay within walking distance to the wine festival in Bernalillo. The staff reassured us on the phone that it was within walking distance. NOT TRUE! Breakfast staff were very rude...There was a line of a couple people waiting to access the muffin tray and the staff woman went around the line and boxed up the muffins right in front of them. Breakfast was OVER! We had a pullout bed AND a roll away in our room...but no pillows were available. The staff said, "We do not have any pillows!" Sort of funny coming from a hotel!

A bit north of town but awesome!!!

This hotel is one of the best experiences I have had. I travel quite a bit for my work, and have had some good experiences, but this property stands above quite a few of the rest. The rooms are super comfortable. The beds are awesome and the staff is super friendly, breakfast is great. Manager is present and acts as though you are her personal guest. She is terrific. Stay here and you will not be dissapointed. Only drawback, no pool. :(
