Best for El Centro

Let's face it, El Centro does not offer much. This is a newer HI Express and has all of the features that you come to expect, mainly suited for the business traveler. No complaints and the only place I would stay in El Centro.

SERVICE IS THE WORST

We booked a room at the Holiday Inn, El Centro we were assured room would be ready by 8am- When we arrived the room was not ready we had to wait in the dining area we had the worst expereince while waiting the personnel at the dining area were rude and unprofessional. They turned off the TV and lights while we waited for our room. After talking to the mgr we ended off leaving. They charged a no show fee and refused to adjust -

Very Clean and Safe

The El Centro HI Express is a clean and safe place to stay, and probably the best place for the money. While its not as convenient as the Fairfield Inn by the mall, this is only a 2 minute drive away from restaurants and other entertainment venues.

Good for El Centro

I stay in El Centro for work at least a couple times a year and there really aren't a lot of choices when it comes to decent hotels. This is nicest place I have stayed at in El Centro but their continental breakfest is mediocre at best. Overall, the place is clean, comes with the amenities you would expect from decent hotel. It's the best place I've stayed at in El Centro so far.

Cancellation Fee outragous

Every hotel we have ever booked has a cancelation policy that is at least the morning of the date. We had an emergency come up and could not travel to El Central from San Diego and I cancelled at 8:30 in the morning. We travel considerably and very rarely have to cancel. They charged a $35 cancelation fee. For El Centro! I'll drive all the way to Yuma next time. The Shilo, Hampton Inn, SummerHouse, ... their cancelation is by 6pm day of arrival.
