Courtyard Amsterdam Airport, Haarlemmermeer

We just got back from spending four nights in this hotel and were very happy with the service, cleanliness, location, and price/value. We spent most evenings in downtown Amsterdam...the hotel is a five minute walk to the bus, which you take to the airport, then the train to Central Station in the city. The Marriott is sort of removed from the hubbub of the city, and almost feels like it's out in the country (peaceful). The walk to the bus is on a "fitness path" and we'd see rabbits and bikers along our way. In hindsight, for convenience, we might stay even closer to the airport, which is a cental bus and train station (and the airport has grocery/clothing/food shopping) and would make it slighly easier and faster to get around, especially late night (after 1 am, I think), when the buses only run 1/hour. It's called the Airport Marriott but is in actuality not THAT close--about a 10 minute drive/20 min bus ride. But we were overall very happy with the location, service, bar, out-of-the-way-ness (in a good way) and the room was WAY larger than the ones we'd stayed in in the London area, and had free internet, which is always nice. We recommend!
