This hotel service was great, I was totally surprised about the room. Stayed here for 7 days enjoyed my stay.

The first time we stayed they gave us a room directly in front of the stairs. People ran up and down the stairs all night. We were directly next door to the same night club, but didn't know this until my boyfriend walked to the end of the balcony and almost fell off because the guardrail wasn't attached properly. We heard the nightclub until they closed but then they just "bumped" from the parking lot. The second time we stayed here we stayed at the front end of the hotel, directly above the office and it was NO BETTER. Someone began beating on our door in the middle of the night, and then the front desk clerk called to say that our friends were looking for us, but didn't even know who the room was rented to. The shower leaked all night, the shower handle was falling off the wall. The shower head was so filthy that water could barely run through it. There was mold all over the inside of the airconditioner. We thought it would be better the second time around and gave them the benefit of the doubt...but there will not be a third time. The best I can say about these rooms is that the pillows are fluffy....and hopefully clean. I do not recommend staying at this motel. Save your money for a little better room like the Sleep Inn up the street or stay a little further south of there at the state park cabins.

The room was clean and look as though it had just been remodeled. Was glad to have the fridge, coffee pot and the microwave. Bad news...they gave us the wrong room at first and we almost walked in on someone else! We went back to the office and they were standing at the door already with another card! They should have come to find us, instead, waited until we realized it and came back! AND, they put is in the back right next to a VERY loud night club and we had to listen to the "thumping" of the music until 2am! I would only stay again only if I could get a room on one of the front ends. It is the cheapest place we found that my husband and I were not worried about staying in and we stopped and looked at most in this area. You jump in price to $98-$119 at anything nicer and anything priced the same or cheaper did not appear safe at all. The truck stop made it convenient to grab a few snacks and cold drinks.
