it was ok
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/01/06
The outside if the hotel was great. It had a huge water fountain it was beautiful. I thought the pool was very bad very small and the hot tub was very small to the outside pool was filthy my kids wouldn't even swim in it. But the cleaning of the hotel was great.

Great Place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/22/05
Staff was excellent! Efficient, helpful, and courteous. Best bed I have ever slept in, in a hotel, and I travel nationally all the time! Only complaint is the showerhead in our room was good for only a trickle.

four star price, two star service
By Adam, 05/31/05
Valet parking was too crowded. Charged me an extra night of stay on my bill and charged me four times for valet parking when I only stayed three nights, also charged me for local phone calls without giving me prior notice. Hotel Bistro was WAY over priced. Bistro also had poor service and took them an extended amount of time to prepare food. Water pressure at the hotel felt like somebody standing above me and spitting on my head. Although the hotel is technically "downtown" it was not within easy walking distance to many of the attractions. Housekeeping didn't get to the rooms until 4:00 pm, which I thought was a little late. View was nothing spectacular, can't see arch, can't see stadium, etc. No fridge, no pool, no hot tub, etc. If you are going to stay downtown then do yourself a favor and do so at another hotel. Conclusion: for the same amount of money you could find a hotel just as good AND you don't have to pay the $20 a day for valet parking.

Great stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/09/04
Stayed for two nights and everything from check-in to check-out made for a perfect stay. The room was clean and very nicely decorated, as was the entire hotel. The lobby was gorgeous. It's right downtown, a couple blocks from the Arch, the riverfront area, which has plenty of restaurants and bars, the Edward Jones Dome, a mall, and the visitor's bureau. Overall the hotel itself was great and the location was ideal. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Louis.

They have the most comfortable, fluffy beds! The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. But, those beds.............! You will not want to leave!!!
