Avoid W Hotel Union Square at all Costs!!!

recently stayed at the W New York Union Square. As a Preferred Gold Member, I am extremely disappointed. First of all, the room was very tired and dirty. I had to request 4 times for a roll-away to be brought up to my room. The staff at the reception desk were very rude as well when I inquired why I had to request the roll-away 4 times. The Ice machine on the 7th floor did not work, and the delivery person was rude when they had to bring ice up to the room. We requested Champaign glasses, and they brought tumbler glasses and stated that they didn’t have any left.
The elevator took 20 minutes to get us in the morning. The over-all property was very tired and dirty. I asked for 2 glasses of orange juice in the morning, and they brought up 2 tiny glasses of orange juice, and charged me $27.00!!!! Again, they were very rude when delivering. My cordless phone did not work at all, and my attempts to rectify this were ignored.
We arrived before 3 Pm on September 5th, and the front desk said that they would call as soon as my room was ready. They never called me; as a SPG Gold member, I have never been treated like this. I used a lot of my points to stay here, and I am completely disgusted that this would even be a W property!!!!!!!!!!!
