Best Stay of any Casino! First Class

Beautifully remodeled NO SMOKING casino and hotel. What a treat to not have to endure smokers habit

DUMP!
By ,
We checked in last night and are staying in the expensive suite. I have stayed in some dumps and this is possibly the worst hotel room ever. The Days Inn is better than this. They have obivously started to remodel from the bottom floor up and forget to finish. The room is like a time warp to the 80's. I will never come to this casino again. EVER!!!

Great place
By ,
Hotel was clean, employees were helpful and friendly, rooms are comfortable, and the smoke-free policy is the greatest. The only downside to our four day stay and this is minor is the temperature in the casino was very uncomfortable. A jacket or sweater was mandatory. We visited two other casinos. One we immediately turned and left and the other we stayed about ten minutes because of the smoke. We will definitely return to the Palace.

Not Handicap Friendly Rooms
Loved the non-smoking concept and the clean deco of a new hotel but it was not handicap friendly. The handicap roll in shower was only 12 - 18 inches deep rather than the average 30-36". The shower drained onto the bathroom floor, (it was designed that way with an extra drain in the middle of the bathroom). This was not good for a handicap person. WET FLOOR! The shower was not wide enough for a shower chair. If you are a caregiver or handicap - stay somewhere else - too many safety issues with the shower for the handicap. HANDICAP BEWARE. Very Bath design for handicap but a great hotel with average sized rooms.

Smoke-Free Casino
By ,
Good PR should accomadate all customers. Many casinos have a non-smoking area. We have been going to the Palace ever since it was opened, but NO MORE!! I am sure most of the smokers will go else where now.

Thank goodness for non smoking
By ,
For every smoker who doesn't patronize the Palace ther will be several non smokers who do. We rarely go to a casino because of the smoke. Now we will have somewhere to go where we don't smell like an ashtray when we leave.

Fantastic!!!
By ,
We stayed overnight. Everything was great! The new buffet was exceptional. The chairs are too comfortable, you don't want to leave. Everyone was extremely courteous. We both smoke, but even with the casino going smoke-free, we will be some of the first ones back when it reopens June 14th. The Palace employees treat you like you are family, not tourists. If you don't like buffets, they make one of the best hamburgers I've ever tasted. Coffee is great! Security is well seen on both floors. I love the idea at the hotel elevator. No one can go beyond the second floor without a room card. The elevator will not operate without the room pass. I think this keeps traffic down in the hotel hallways, as well as a great security measure. Everything is accessible via the Hopper bus. You don't have to get your car to visit other businesses. Valet parking is fast and courteous compared to other casinos. We call the Palace our "home away from home". We would recommend it to everyone.

Biloxi is a fun place to visit!
By ,
The room was spotless and the service exceptional. I appreciate the in-room coffee service as many hotels have phased this out forcing guests to purchase high-priced coffee from coffee stands. This was a great place for the money. Parking was convenient and security was visible. My only complaint was the extremely smokey casino. there was not enough clean air flow to offset the tremendous amount of smoking in the casino. A flat panel tv would be a nice upgrade.

Improving
By ,
Much improved. Before Katrina it was a 5 star casino/resort, after it was a 1 star. They have much improved on promotions, service, hotel and food. If they can improve and open the new casino by mid 2011 I will make more visits but right now I spend more time at the Beau
