Comfort Inn Big Stone Gap, Big Stone Gap

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Big Stone Gap for our daughter's graduation from the University of Virginia, Wise Campus. We found the cost to be very reasonable, the room comfortable and large, and the staff outstanding. We had a large group travelling 3 to 5 hours to be there, and the agent who booked our family understood our desire to lodge close together. They arranged for us to have both microwave and refrigerator in our room, and were wonderfully helpful in finding a place for a graduation dinner on short notice. There's a mom and pop restaurant on the grounds, a pool, hot tub and small exercise room in the facility, and the nicest atmosphere I've experienced in quite some time. Information on the local outdoor production of "The Trail of the Lonesome Pine" is prominantly displayed. The theme is definitely "woodsman" and the warm colors and well-regulated air conditioning are extremely peaceful and comfortable. I recommend this hotel with no hesitation at all.
