Not bad - not good either
Like was previously mentioned in another review, there was a baseball team staying in the hotel during my stay. And like the previous review, they monopolized the hotel as their private dormitory. Rooms left open with team members wandering the halls at all hours of the day and night. Just imagine how teenagers would act the first time they could take a trip without parental supervision and you have the idea.
Additionally, when I first checked in... I had to go through three different rooms to find one that was satisfactory. I'm not fussy about rooms, either. The first room was overwhelmingly filled with cigarette smoke, despite the hotel being smoke-free. The second room had a broken air conditioner. The third had a broken dehumidifier (which was swapped out with a working one).
As for the room itself, it was quite nice. The bed was actually much, MUCH better than what I expected for a hotel. Also, the layout of the room had more character than most other cookie-cutter hotels. Furthermore, their fitness room was well maintained with good air conditioning and a large flat-screen television.
If it hadn't been for the clientele, I would have rated it a full star higher. (in other words, don't come here during baseball season).
