Love it!
By Karina, 09/18/08
Commerce Hotel & Casino is a great place to visit if in L.A. The gaming is great and the rooms are fantastic. My husband and I visit often from San Diego. The spa is also great. Every time I go there which is about once a month sometimes more, it is clean. I never had any sort of bumps, been there 100 times. The rooms are spacious and service is good. It also has great night action. Comedy club, dancing, sports bar V.I.P. lounge and any level of poker game you like. On a scale of 1-5 this place is a 5.5. Parking tip: park in valet. It is right in front of hotel check-in and they are very fast when you are ready to pick up your vehicle.

great - but avoid spa
By carolea, 05/30/07
I think the hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable the beds and pillows are great and the staff is very nic AVOID the spa - the manager is rude and nasty, actually entered the women's spa to scream at the women working there. The spa is not clean,I have bumps all over my body from the treatment and I will never go the spa again but I will stay at the hotel.

Good for sleeping, staying
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/06
I stayed 4 nights, 10-30-06 to 11-03-06, for business. Rooms were clean, the floor I stayed on was quiet, they even give you a sleep pack (ear plugs, lavender spray, a sleep CD (tells how to to get a good night sleep as well as having soothing sounds), and a eye shade. Microwave and fridge. Bathroom was fairly new and clean. Room also had built in iron and hair dryer. Negative: There are 2 packing lots and both get filled up quickly after 4 p.m. VIP parkers and valet parking are options. Valet only cost $2, but I tend to go in and out alot. I say it's about a good 10 minute walk door to door, when you have to park far. The location is pretty crummy in terms of not much to do around the area. It's the city of "Commerce" for god sakes. Some fast foods. But of course you can drive toward Monterery Park for better stuff. High speed internet cost $10 per day, not bad.

Excellent Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/15/05
Overall, a very nice hotel and very worth the price. It is clean, quiet, staff is friendly, and the restaurants in the hotel are very good. However, if you need to commute to downtown LA, think about another hotel. It took us over an hour to go about 15 miles.

Crowne Plaza
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/23/04
Recently I stayed at Crowne Plaza Hotel. It's in a good area of the City of Commerce. There are a lot of shopping centers near by. It's in an easy place to find because it's directly off of the freeway. Also, there are a lot of lounge areas in front of the hotel.

I would rate the room a 5 because it was very nicely set up, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space to put everything you needed to. In the morning, the newspaper is at your doorstep. The only disapointment was that local calls were not free.

The staff there was overall friendly and very helpful. They let us know where the shopping centers were, and gave us directions to places close by. There was only two misunderstandings I encountered in my stay.

Over all my stay at the Crowne Plaza was a pleasent experience. I would go back there anytime.
