Budget Suites of America Tropicana I-15, Las Vegas

I had stayed here previously in 2010. I was not overly impressed with my accomodations in 2010 but this place fits my budget and the staff was friendly. I checked in this trip and was amazed at the quality difference of the apartments. Once again Kelly from the front desk greeted me with a smile and remembered me from the last time I was here. It appears Budget Suites has stepped it up a notch and has really turned the corner in the quality department. For the money this is the best value in town. The property is well maintained and it is quiet in the evening.

If you make the mistake of staying . . . LOCK your doors and windows . HORRIBLE management and very dangerous tenants .

The only good thing about this place was the fact that it is in Vegas! The Hotel itself has a decent exterior, the pool and the hot tub are pretty nice, and the rooms have a very nice layout...HOWEVER.... I think the staff need a BIG lesson in CUSTOMER SERVICE and the "Manager" being the worst one of them all was a TOTALLY RUDE BITCH with an obvious chip on her shoulders!!! $25 a week for towel rental, 50 some dollars weekly to rent dishes (because they have full kitchens and bathrooms but provide nothing for guests) you even have to rent your bed linens!!! Roach traps in all of the cabinets really excited me!!! SO DISGUSTING!!! We paid for Internet service $5 a week...and could not use it because it does not work with Windows Vista...AND WE COULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT REFUND ANY OF OUR MONEY...SO WE WERE STUCK!!! I could go on and on...BUT I WILL STOP HERE AND JUST SAY.... Go to Vegas...you will have the time of your life!!! JUST DONT STAY HERE!!!

i liked the location,for that close to the strip,the price was very resonable.i did not like seeing,peopel going through the trash,for food,or whatever it is they were doing.

The Budget Suites at Tropicana & Procyon was the filthiest, worst maintained room rental I have experienced in 45 years of travel. The carpet had not been vacuumed and was filthy. We had use sanitizing wipes to go over every inch of anything we might come in contact with. We were afraid to put anything on the floor and never let our bare or sock-covered feet touch it. The air conditioning did not work the first two nights(supposedly illegal in Nevada)and was finally replaced after calling the front desk and asking for the manager.There were badly placed patches on the doors, red stains on the bathroom floor, garbage and fingernails, bare lite bulbs in some fixtures...I could go on...it was a nightmare of a room. Lets not even talk about the overflowing trash bins outside for two days. Please avoid this money grabbing outfit...they have a cash-cow and they're not spending a dollar to fix it up.
