Holiday Inn Express Suites Manassas, Manassas

staff was friendly , room was clean, have to pay for breakfast bar, bed was like a board with sheet and mattress pad on it. hardness thing we ever sleep on. will not be staying here again

Not every hotel offers a forest trail to a historical battle just like the "Country Inns & Suites" here where the Battle of Manassas was once held just about 140 years ago. I was surprised that the citizens of Manassas have preserved the Historical Civil War battlefield for tourists and the environmental habitat for securing the food chain. Me and my family departed on a sunny morning through the back of the hotel on a trail that cuts throught the Community College "NOVA" and a forest to the Battle of Manassas. Upon our trip we came upon variety of species including deer, rabbits, the Virginia red bird which is the symbold of VA. We went and visited the entire plain field just as seen the Civil War movies I have at home. Stonewall Jackson is a huge inspiration for my work and so far this was the coolest hotel I have ever been to. I was glad that this hotel is a unique stay to match the old country lifestyle back in the late 1800s. If you are looking for a fantastic rate and a good night sleep wether you are a smoker or nonsmoker, bring your mates and visit the manassas battlefield. The fornt desk is extremely helpful. Good service, awesome breakfast I was able to go to a nice BBQ restourant VERY CLOSE to the hotel! Did I forget to mention the pool at the hotel with the hot tub! oh wait... I dont wanna give away the surprises. Come and explore. This is an adventure here!

The suite was beautiful and clean, and we are VERY picky about clean. The hotel staff were, without exception, very helpful. We found that the free breakfast was one of the best we have had at any hotel, a lot of variety and a very nice dining room to eat in. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The entrance to the driveway is a little confusing at first, but no problem once you have navigated it one time. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definately stay again!

This was a nice & clean place to stay. Only thing was the hectic traffic and it was a little hard to get in their driveway. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
