Pros: Very clean, no one bothers you, all amenites, very reasonable priced and great location.
Cons: Confusing check in, arrangements were not correct, 4pm check in became 6 pm. 3 couples all wanted our own rooms, we were not informed that one bedroom had twin beds. Huge tub for 2nd bedroom but toilet and sink were in a different room across the hall.
Called our room at exactly 10am to see if we were gone and had maid service there by 10:15. No elevator if you get 3rd floor room.
No one checks to see if you need anything, you need to know that you have to wash your own towels, empty garbage etc.
Would stay there again, but glad to have this knowledge.
Check in was a little rough, as they checked us and another couple into the same unit. We had a good laugh with the other couple, my husband we back to the check-in lobby and they assigned us another unit.
We had a deluxe one bedroom that had every amenity we could want in it, full kitchen, washer/dryer, stereo, dvd, vcr, tv, although the tv's were very small 19".
We found an out of the way Mexican Resturant called Aranda's in Madison which was authentic Mexican food, not TexMex, oh so good! Opryland Hotel was awesome. The hotel, with it's balconies, lighting, and the gardens are just amazing! There are a couple of blocks downtown Nashville, quite a few Honky Tonk bars with live music. It seemed to be quite the party place. Ernest Tubbs Record Shop is there. The shop has quite a bit of history to it. Opry Mills Mall is nice.
We have been owners in Nashville for four years now. We are very happy with the Fairfield program. If you are visiting Nashville, this is the place to stay. With Opry Mills mall, Opryland, dinner boat cruises and various shows and activities right on this exit there is really no reason to go anywhere else. To be honest, the only reason we went to Nashville was our reservation in Ft Lauderdale was cancelled due to a Hurricane. We have been back several times and have also reserved the resort for our friends. For a day of fun and laughs make sure you take the "Tootsie Tour Bus" tour. It is a blast and you see so much of Nashville along with the homes of many stars. The staff is wonderful and always ready to assist in any way possible.
Good location, out of the busy downtown area. Individual units with washer/dryer in unit; dishwasher, TV, VCR, DVD playe, stove/microwave. Two pools, an outdoor hot-tub, sauna, and weight room.
Close to The Grand Ole Opry, OpryLand Hotel, General Jackson Steamboat, Opry Mills (outlet mall), Ernest Tubb's Record Shop. Several good places to eat within a very short distance. Tootsie Tours and Gray Line Tours can be arranged through the Resort staff, some discount tickets are available. Tootsie Tours is a smaller group and much more personable.
Personal attention provided by the staff. The appear to want to make sure you enjoy your stay.
