By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/23/08
We have stayed here two times. Our room was cleane and nice. If the manger had not given us a good rate we would not have been able to see our family this year. we loved all the workers ,all ways willing to help!!!. we will be back next year!!!

Not what I expected
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/08
Although the staff was very friendly and ready to help with anything I must admit that this Hampton Inn was not of the quality of previous Hampton Inn's I've stayed at. My room smelled musty and after one night of sleep I woke with a scratch throat and what seems to be an allergic reaction. Could have been mold for the chairs and floor seemed to be moisture stained and after 2 nights of staying there my symptoms worsened. Must have been the room, something high pollen or moldy. As I said the staff and management was great but some deep cleaning (remediation) may need to be done to bring comfort rather than sickness to the next person!

We stayed there twice it was nice over all, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean, on the second visit the elevator was broken and we had to take the steps, the hot bar was good but they need to teach them how to cook the eggs!!!!! it was a hot mess, the service was good and the staff was nice and friendly

Very Satisfied
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/07/07
I have stayed in many Hampton Inn's and many other hotels. Hampton Inn is by far the best in getting your money's worth. It is always clean and the staff is very friendly. It beats Holiday Inn hands down!!

It Was Just OK - Not As Nice As Other Hampton Inns
By MBA Mama, 12/11/06
I've stayed in quite a few Hampton Inns, since I travel a lot. This one just did not have quite the level of service that I usually experience with their chain. The breakfast food appeared to be "day old". On one cold day the maid left the window to my room open. Another night the lights went out after dark, just when I was leaving for supper. When I went to the stairs, the stairs said "wet paint, do not enter". I made my way in the dark to the stairs at the other end of the hall and was spooked by another guest. There should have been hotel employees on each floor helping people out. Instead several employees were all huddled around the phone at the front desk, though no one could call because the electricity to it wasn't working. When the lights finally came back on, my TV was broken. The next day when I asked the front desk if the TV was fixed, the maintenance guy snapped at me. I am returning to Mobile for another week and have decided to forfeit the opportunity to earn Hilton Honors points and stay elsewhere. UPDATE: I sent a copy of this complaint to the Hampton Hotel, and they did address my concerns promptly.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The room was large (king room) and the bed was very comfortable. Hot breakfast is a plus!

I will return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/30/06
I liked the cleanliness. However, my door key/card did not open my door. I had to get the desk clerk to open it for me each time. They did not have any other rooms available.
