Microtel Inn And Suites, Brush

I stayed for over 2 months, have had to fight for points. Dirtiest motel I have ever stayed at, I was in Brush on Business and did not have a selection of motels. I overlooked the nastiness of the managers, and just dealt with things. I basically live in motels, my profession has me traveling a lot. For 5 years I have been in some back country motels that are cleaner than this. They have uneducated Managers that never graduated from High School running the motel. Running off the best help, because they are scared of anyone that can actually add 2+2 and keep the place clean.

Arrived late in the night so didn't check room before checking in. Noticed room was not very clean (carpets &walls dirty etc.). Kept our shoes on to avoid filthy carpets, but when checking pillows (all 4) they were all filthy sweat stained (remove your pillowcases & covers and check-from now on I always will check this-DISGUSTING!!). Somehow, we slept (we were exhausted) for about 4 hours. When we got up only one of us could go to the bathroom (in our room) because the toilet because OVERFLOWED!! FOR NO REASON. My husband used lobby bathroom and that had no paper towels in the dispenser, so couldn't dry his hands there. No food in the breakfast room, not that we would have eaten it anyway. The manager, or her biker husband/boyfriend who we had to get from the parking lot, pretty much just laughed in our face. FILTHY FILTHY DIRTY!!

Not enough Non-Smoking rooms. Promised to use air cleaning system before arrival, but still smelled smoky. Wireless Internet is good at either end of building, but very weak in lobby and breakfast area. 9:00am Cleaning lady wanted to clean room while family was sleeping. Ask her to come back in afternoon. Cleaning lady left site before noon and room was not cleaned. New cleaning lady on 2nd day had an odd acting young man following her. Maybe I am just overprotective of my 3yr daughter, maybe not, but not taking chances while traveling. Ran out of breakfast by 9:00am on two days. A McDonalds with better food is very close. If all you want is a quick 8 hour stay, it may be OK. Do not stay here for 3 days straight as we did. Property owned locally.

We travel alot. This motel was so friendly, accomodating and clean. The price was awesome to. Our girls asked if they could go back sometime just to swim.
