Paradise Valley Resort, Dawsonville

This was our first time ever somewhere liike this and we were totally comfortable with how ever much or little wanted to wear, and the pool and bar area were great and excellent prices. My wife and I are already planning our next time.

Wife and I had not been there in 4 yrs and had heard about all the improvements. We went this summer and were very surprised by how much has changed. We liked it so much that we have been back twice since. LOVE IT!

Nice place, nice friendly folks & staff, new owner is putting in a lot of new stuff, the food in the restaurant is great, prices are very reasonable.

Never thought I would be able to go in and undress, [first visit ever was 7-18-09] was so easy and comfortable. Not at all what I had envisioned. Absolutely loved it. Just felt free from everything. Met a lot of nice people, definately would recommend it to anyone. Stayed in [the new] studio condo and it was the nicest place I have stayed anywhere. Clean and upscale. Just try it, you will enjoy. Thanks guys for a wonderful place to go- we will be back.[soon]

Great group of people. No wierd-o's that we saw. The new owner, Scott, has it all together. No discrimination policy really attracts some wonderfull people. They do not sell much in the way of merchandise, such as umbrellas. Next time we will be a litte more prepared, and next time will be soon.

I love this place. The staff are awesome and the members are the best.After this weekend (July 4th 2008)I am proud to say that now I am a member.People who stayed in the past should revisit Paradise Valley to enjoy the new condos which can be rented for 125(suite) or less(studio) on the weekends during peak season. I suggest renting out the suite instead of the studio which allows you to have use of the full sized kitchen and laundry areas.If you are trying to save on money and prefer not having to dress and redress to drive back into town then stay at one of the local hotels they are not as good as the condos but they will not kill you either.

During the week it is very quiet. You can walk around the property (nude or clothed) for exercise. The pool is clean and well maintained. The newer accomodations are way better than the older ones. The meals are good and you can eat nude or clothed. There is a good beach volleyball court and tennis courts. If you are looking for a relaxing nude vacation not far from Atlanta, take your spouse to the Valley. We are about 3 hours away, but we don't hesitate to jump in the car and head there if the weather is good.

First visit in early spring was pretty tough, very nervous, but the staff were very friendly and informative, explaining that the resort is clothing optional. That meant we did not have to remove our clothes, unless we decided we wanted to. We entered fully covered and had to at first stifle the giggles, like a couple of elementary school kids. After a short time and a few conversations with the members, we found ourselves becoming uncomfortable, not by the nudity around us, but by being clothed ourselves... after a couple of deep breaths (and a couple of beers) we went part way, and each removed some of our clothes. A few minutes later, I bravely removed my pants and immediately took cover on my lounge chair. Wife took slightly longer, but we ended up joining the resort for a year and took a one year lease on an RV site. We are there every weekend and LOVE IT. Come see what real relaxation is like. Friday and Saturday nights at the "Bear Cheeks" lodge are a hoot. Young or old, you will find it great fun.

At first it was a little uncomfortable, But as just a little time passed we began to feel more at ease. A few of the long time members introduced themselves and explained the "lifestyle" to us. By the time we had made our third visit, we had decide to buy property and retire there. It's the most relaxing place we have ever been in out life.
