Trinity Capital Hotel, Dublin

My wife and I stayed at the Trinity Capital Hotel for several days on holiday and enjoyed it very much. The room was clean and very comfortable and we liked the funky decor. The location was very good as we were able to walk to many places we wanted to visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would be happy to stay there again on a future trip to Dublin.

Great location...easy to get to places...Trinity College, Temple Bar, Bank, ATM, etc. Room was small...clean, but no a/c...which is ok due to cool weather, but windows didn't open very wide and lots of street noise. Beds were very comfortable, and I was given a fan which helped to circulate air. Food was way below average for the price. Staff helpful. Lobby area lacked cleaning...dirt under chairs/sofas. Probably would not stay there again.

Decor awesome- staff wonderful and accommodating- great walk to anywhere in the city. Husband and I loved it. We'll be back!

A friend and I arrived Friday evening as weary travellers to find they had double-booked our room and we couldn't stay there. Although they booked another hotel for us, The directions the reception staff gave us were all wrong which would have had us going the wrong way in our car up one way streets. They blamed their computer system for the booking mix up.

On the plus side: The hotel was clean, the breakfast excellent and the staff were very polite and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. On the negative side: The decor takes a bit of getting used to and is rather dark and a little depressing. The big disadvantage of the hotel is the street noise. The traffic is VERY heavy on Pearse Street. Also, when the pubs close it gets very noisy outside for an hour or so. Closing the windows and using ear plugs didn't really help. If you are a light sleeper, then avoid this hotel. If you are in Dublin to party, then it doesn't really matter...

I acompanied a group of College students and was very impressed how well they were treated by everyone there. You would not see that in the states.

hotel was excellent, location excellent rooms very clean and breakfast was superb. the staff were at times a wee bit glum, but the reception staff could not have been more professonal

This was a fantastic hotel close too shopping and restaurants. They went above and beyond to take care of their guests. Defintely we will stay there next time.
