Likithos Village Medotel, Neos Marmaras

We went to Likithos in the summer of 2004 with my husband and 2 kids (ages 4 and 2). We had the best time ever. The rooms were big, clean and very nice decorated. We had connecting rooms with the kids which was great cause we didn't all have to sleep at the same time. The kids would go to bed and me and my husband would sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view. The beach is amazing. White sand and so clystal clear water that you can actually see your feet in the water. The beach is only for hotel guests so it is never crowded and there are umbrellas available. There is a bar which is open all day that has the best view of the beach and sea. There is also a nice big pool with a restaurant next to it. The food is the best we have ever had. I gain about 5 lbs those 10 days that we were there. The hotel stuff is very friendly. THere are not any really downsides to this hotel. There is a a small playground for the kids that needs some updating, and you need a car if you want to go to any of the near by villages. Other than that this hotel is perfect for families, but it is also great for couples who just want to relax on the beach or by the pool. We can't wait to go back this summer!!!!
