Premier Inn London County Hall, London

I loved this hotel. It's literally right next to The London Eye, and just across from Big Ben and Westminster Abbey (5 mins). Plus, it's conveniently close (2 blocks) to the Waterloo Tube Station in order to get you anywhere else you want to go in London. The hotel itself is a nice clean hotel which seems to be geared toward families, and also includes a reasonably-priced restaurant and bar. There are not any marble foyers or bell-boys to be seen, but I didn't need any of that. I was really impressed and pleased with this hotel.

Perfect location, short walk from Big Ben, Waterloo railway station, a few tube stations and bus stops. The room was very large, clean, with convenient tea/coffee maker and very quiet. Breakfast buffet had a large choice, although not top quality food.

If you are in London for a few days, this is the perfect location! You're located STEPS from the London Eye, the Aquarium, and a stone's throw from Big Ben. You are close to the bus stop and the tube. The room we had was on the 3rd floor facing the street. We were lucky we came in May, when the weather was cool and rainy. There is no airconditioner but there is a heater and fan. The room is clean and the bathroom spacious and a full size tub! In your room you received a kettle and tea/coffee preparations. Ample space to store your clothes, but no real hanging space. I booked online at the T.I. site and for May 2005 I paid 87 pounds a nite.. a real London bargain!
