The Essene Way, San Pedro

The property was gorgeous and it looks like it used to be an amazing resort! Sadly, it is no longer in business. It is overgrown with plants now and the buildings are beginning to show the lack of upkeep. As far as I know, the owners of Las Terrazas bought it and they were going to develop it again in 2007 but the recession hit and there was not enough demand to support a resort of that size. So now it sits while locals rent the abandoned buildings to live in.
