The Inn at Captain Hirams, Sebastian

My husband and I paid a premium price to stay in a king room with a jacuzzi tub, a private balcony, a pool view and what we thought would be a top rate resort. The bar and restaurant which we thought would be private for hotel guests is really the town's only entertainment and was bombarded with town drunks. While we enjoy drinking, this was out anniversary getaway....hence the reason for spending almost $200 per night. There is no gym. The 'private' balcony is really a back porch on the first floor with short concrete walls and an opening for anyone to walk onto. Due to the fact that the bar is open to everyone, not only hotel guests, parking is extremely limited. There is a small fridge in our room, but no kitchenette. No stove or even a toaster oven. There is a Best Western right down the street within walking distance of the 'Captain Hirams' bars, that costs less than half the cost of staying here. A HUGE waste of money. I am here right now listening to town drunks hoot and holler from my not-so-private balcony.
