Good place for handicapped

I stayed at this hotel on a 4,000 mile trip. I am handicapped and I stayed at many hotels on this trip. This hotel was the only one that would give me a first floor room. All the other hotels put me as far back and as high up as they could possible put me since I had a dog. If there had been a fire in the other hotels, I would have had a problem since I don't do stairs. My young daughter really enjoyed the water slide. I would stay at this hotel again, and would never stay in the other hotels.

We were going to stay but a family emergency happen. We had two rooms reserved...i went to web site and canceled what i thought was two rooms, but you have to go through the process twice to cancel both. Two rooms under the same confirmation number and you have to go through the cancelation process twice to cancel both rooms. Need less to say i was checking my credit card and hear is a room charge. I called to explain, and i first got a person that I could not understand. He finally said that he would give to the manager to give me a call, but to this day I have not gotton a call. The customer service from Country Inn and suites, e-mailed me that there was still one room still reserved and they will not be refunding the charge.

So good, we stayed there twice!

We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Rapid City twice now, once in 2001 and again in 2007. This hotel is by far the nicest place in the area and didn't "age" at all in the 6 year time frame. The staff is wonderful, and make you feel special! The breakfast is also very good, but go down early as seating gets crowded. Excellent location for all the attractions even within a 2 hour radius. Country Inn's are our favorite chain and cleanliness is their top priority! For a summer visit, reserve months ahead!

Great Stay

Very reasonable rates, plenty to do around area. Even hour drives to the Badlands Nat'l Park or the Devils tower Nat'l Monument are easily done from here. Mt Rushmore, Wall, and Crazy Horse are not far either. Hotel staff at the desk, was very helpful, happily helped with directions.

Perfect place to stay when visting Rapid City

Amazing Staff. We drove in early than expected and the immediately checked us in without an extra charge ( We checked in at 7am!!!) Breakfast was good too and the front desk staff were very helpful. Hotel was clean with pleanty of amneties. Would not think about going anywhere else the next time we visit Rapid City.

Great Service!

This hotel is one of the nicest ones we have stayed in! It was very clean and every one of the employees were very polite! The breakfast was great and a good variety. We stayed here for three nights and never had a problem. We will be back! Thankyou!

This is a great place to stay near major routes and spotlessly clean. Thought the place was new and was surprised to learn it has been open for 8 years!! All staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Worth Pulling IN

This hotel is relatively new and a little tricky to get into. However, property and staff were great and hotel is located near both a mall, mini golf, many resurants and a Walmart for snacks. Very close to hgihway but no road noise. Even though it is on the north side of town very easy to get to Blackhills, Rushmore, etc.

Real nice place, clean and friendly

This place was the best. We spent four nights. Very clean and the staff was very helpfull and friendly. The breakfast was more than enough for anyone to eat. Plenty of food to choose from. The pool was nice. Having T.G.I. Friday's next store was nice also. It is very convient to the major road and is only eight miles from the air port. If we return to Rapid City and I hope to do so one day I will stay at this hotel. We were there from Oct. 16th through the 20th 2005. For once the ad was 100% correct.

Nice property, good location.

A nice newer property, located near the Interstate with quick access to many 'must-see' locations in the Black Hills-Spearfish, Sturgis, Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, etc. Hubby and I stayed there 4 nights for vacation. Several restaurants within walking distance, and the Mall is 3-4 blocks away if you want to shop. We didn't use the pool as we were tired from sight-seeing each day, but it looked nice with a big waterslide for the kids and 2 hot-tubs. There was also a small exercise room, which we didn't use, and they serve a hot breakfast each morning, with sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels, etc. The place was full or nearly full each night we stayed, as it was prime vacation season and the Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis was starting to get under way. Front desk staff were very nice. We'd stay there again in the future.
