Can't wait to go back
By Kathleen, 2/2/12
We we went in October and it was beautiful. If you love to golf, then this is the place. The condo was clean and that is very important to me.

Amazing, Great Resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/8/10
We drove to phoenix last december for a football game. The resort was absolutely beautiful. We were always treated graciously and with respect (even thought we didn't look all that respecatable after our drive, lol). We had changed our reservation before we arrived and even with the short notice the staff was great in helping us. There were four of us staying in a 1 bedroom condo "suite" and the two single guys actually argued over who got to sleep on the hide-a-bed, it was that comfy!! We got a roll away on short notice, and all of the staff was great (front desk, maintence & housekeeping). The resturant was also very good. The full kitchen was better than we had expected and the amount of closets and dresser space was more than we could have ever needed. The washer & dryer are great to have right there in your room. The views from the patios and balconys was a great way to start the day with a cup of coffee. The bathrooms & whirlpool were amazing; beautiful marble. We loved it so much we have told everyone about our stay and we are planning another trip there soon, this time we will be getting the 2 bedroom condo "suite" as there will be 6 of us. This resort was well worth the price, location was perfect for us, easy to find everything (shopping not far, easy access to main roads/interstates), very peaceful and serene. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Phoenix!!!

bad customer service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/30/08
when I checked into this hotel i was dresed for a rock and roll concert that i had driven from kingman az to attend. the desk clerk was very rude to me and my husband i believe because of the way we were dresed. then i left a couple of items in the room when we checked out and it took 6 phone calls along with being hung up on to get the problem resolved very bad customer service

Very nice stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/9/07
My husband and I stayed at the Legacy Resort in October of 2006. We had a suite that was close to the pool. We loved our room with a nice jacuzzi tub. The view of South Mountain was very nice.

relaxing LEGACY GOLF resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/20/06
The rooms were very spacious and clean.Parking was horrible on Sat/Sun.though.We were kept up by a cricket that was hiding in the bedroom not really there fault.I often had to kill some that invited themselves in the door as you opened it,otherwise very enjoyable. The pool was wonderful and REFRESHING.The employees were very nice and friendly. My father in law and I played golf everyday and had a ball.My WIFE didnt appreciate a young man "employee" bringing attention to the fact a girl was sunbathing topless apparently on her deck along the golf course. He was curious to know if we had seen the "naked chick" we didnt. We are actually staying again this year,we had alot of fun.The lobby is full of great ideas of things to do in the area as well.

Nice Resort, Bad bed.
By Bobby, 1/8/06
Overall the resort was great. The only problem, which was a major factor was that the bed was not very comfortable. Didn't sleep well. However, the rest of the facilities were a above average.

Great Golf Getaway
By Bob, 12/7/05
Excellent base for a golf vacation.Lots of courses within 1/2 hour drive. Great pool & loved the whirlpool tub in the room after a day of golf. You must try the Rustlers Roost steak house. Great food & good music. Golf course was great but cart path only due to recent overseed. Not a problem. Only downside was the hot water in the shower. There was plenty but it took a long time to get hot. Other than that had a great time. Would definetely go back.Staff was excellent.

Best view for $ and great service.
Found the resort an incredible value, the staff anxious to go out of their way to assist. If you choose to go to the casino they will pick you up from your hotel in a limo, complimentary. The view was incredible. I found the water aerobics fun. The golf is very inexpensive and a nice course. Staff from the golf pros, to the wait staff, the fitness staff, hotel staff, and the bartenders by the pool were all friendly and service was wonderful. The packages the hotel arranges to grand canyon are well organized and fun and a great way for someone traveling alone to enjoy the trip with others.
