Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge, Chiredzi

My first ever time in Africa with friends and family, currently knowing those at the Chilo Gorges Safari lodge, and I must say I could never have had the views more spectacular, such a wonderful place with wonderful people, who at all times made sure our stay was amazing!! Also providing the best ever safari opportunities with not only the view but the knowledge and great tour guides on board, I would most definitely go back and will certainly recommend this to anyone who wants a safari experience with magnificent views and lovely friendly people.

As South Africans, we thought Kruger had the best there was in game viewing, and were initially concerned about the political instability of Zimbabwe at this time. The greatest surprise was that from the time of landing at Harare Airport until we flew home from there, we saw no sign of the strife. The place we went to and stayed at was from another world. It was the most amazing and mind blowing experience of my life, and I can only thank the people at Chilo, who went out of their way to make every moment perfect for us.

I really liked the location of the lodge.An african paradise and a very romantic setting. I ahd a beautiful view of the river and loved going to bed and waking up to the soung of the wild animals.We did go for 2 game drives while we were there and they were excellent,saw most of the Big 5 except the elusive leopard of course.There is nothing i disliked about the place it was just fantastic
