Great stay!

Great service, the guy that looks like Waldo helped a lot with checking us in, and helping us with our internet and air conditioning machine. Very clean rooms. Stayed a week there! Some of the housekeeps are good looking too! To many people in the pool though. Not enough places to eat that are close.

Nice hotel

Stayed on a Sat. night. Must have good sound insulation since I didn't hear any noise throughout the night. The free breakfast is good. Negatives are the pool is always crowded from 8 AM to whenever it closes. Fitness room treadmill is insufficient. It's also a couple miles out of town.

not relaxing experience!

I have stayed at this hotel twice now. The first experience I had was great. I just recently stayed there again and my experience was not so great. It was a busy weekend and the pool area was overly crowded. This would be one thing, but everyone in the pool area was rather drunk. There were beer cans EVERYWHERE and there were some very disturbing people in there. We left we felt so uncomfortable. Since the pool is the only attraction that this hotel offers, we were stuck in our room the rest of the night. It was not a very kid friendly environment.

Never again!

This is the smokiest place that I have ever stayed! The room was non-smoking and fine, but smoking is allowed throughout the hotel so you are constantly in smoke. Even the fitness center gets smoke through the vent in the wall that adjoins the smoking lounge next to it. I had a weekend long headache and would never return! My compliants were not addressed by management.

Excellent Establishment

We loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Express! We loved the very comfortable mattresses, along with the fluffy pillows, duvet and cover. You won't find any unsanitary and gawdy bedspeads at this hotel! The pool and hot tub were a hit, as well as the computer room. The breakfast was tasty and the staff was pleasant and informative! We live in Michigan and do a road trip to Manitoba every few years. We will specifically drive the 12 hours or so it takes to get to St. Cloud (even if we're tired and want to stop earlier) just so we can stay here. This hotel is reasonably priced and if you enjoy a CLEAN place to stay, this is it. Also, there are great restaurants nearby(maybe 3-5 miles) in St. Cloud. McDonald's is not the only option.

the hotel was good but the location was terrible. the only thing near it was a mcdonalds. must have been a busy weekend because there was so much noise.

You really are smarter after staying at Holiday Inn Express

Stormy weather caused the hotel to have many vacancies, because of this they upgraded me to a suite. The hotel went out of their way to make me comfortable in light of the conditions I traveled in.

Home away from home for a business owner.

I stayed at this hotel more than 40 nights in 2003-2004. I always was treated special, even before everyone knew me. The pool area is nice. I enjoy hottubs and theirs is large and usually Hot (103+). Nice workout room as well, but I didn't use it much. During cold nights they would have hot soup ready in their lobby. There was always fruit and mints at the desk. Speaking of food, they even had a few customer appreciation barbques. That is going the extra distance. Being a resort owner myself, I appreciate the effort they took for me. I highly recommend this hotel!
