Comfort Inn East Walnut Street, Evansville

We needed an Handicaped room and this was the first Hotel that my husband was able to get into the bathroom and shower with his wheelchair. The staff went out of their way to help and we would stay there again.

Had to have surgery and had to be at the hospital early in the morning. We went down the day before so we would not have the early morning long drive to Evansville. Once there the desk clerk asked if there was any reason for spending the night. when I said I had surgery in the morning he asked the hospital and was able to give us a cheaper rate. Rooms where clean new beds, View was not bad of the pool. Pool was clean and well taken care off. I didn' eat while I was there so I can't say anything about the food. Family said it was good. If I had to pick on one thing being bad it would be the bathroom. for me it could have been bigger.
