5 reviews for Red Roof Inn Gaffney, Gaffney
The bad reviews are totally wrong and I enjoyed it
By Paresh, 11/04/09
I stayed at the red roof inn, gaffney and enjoyed it. The employees are very helpful and nice. I got checked in and got to my room. The room was nice and clean. For the price it's the best deal around Gaffney, S.C. The hotel is not that old. If you stay at red roofs, then you will know this is one of the newer red roofs. Breakfest was good too, they had waffles and i love waffles. Will come back every time in that area.

The Things that I found
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/08
My wife and I checked in the room 114 on 10/25/08 that afternoon. Later that night we found in the small frig. and togo box that was left by someone that was in the room prior to our stay. This did upset me, but my wife been a piece loving person would not let me act on this problem. The next morning as she was getting ready to leave and I was packing all our items up, I looked in all the drawers to see if she had placed any items in the night stands. In one of the night stands I found a small paper sack and in it was 6 unused condoms. Now as piece loving as she was when I showed her this, well it was not good. As we went to check out I informed the young lady at the counter of the items that I had found and she did not say anything as for been sorry. The question I ask her was if the clean up crew was to lazy to open the frig and to look in the dressers (was the linen on the bed changed). She again didn't answer the qustion. I have sent this problem to the head office and I have sent E-Mail to everyone that I have contacts over the states on how nasty the Red Roof Inn is and advised all the personal in my company to stop staying ther and if they did I would not pay for the stay. One question is, if you were gone on a trip for your company and stayed at a what you thought was a clean place and went to bed that night and then 3 to 4 day later you some how had a problem with your personal part and it was pasted on to your better half would she or she believe you when you told them that you were all by your self and that you got it by slleping on sheets that were not changed because of what you found in theroom what you thought was a clean room. Now you tell me who is paying the big price and if you can how will you ever get out of the dog house on this one. I will say as thing as bad as they are now and with prices as they are I will never stay at and this was the first time I had ever did stay at the Red Roof Inn agaia, this was upon a request from my wife because she said that we need to set an example to the others that it was time to cut back and save money so the others would. All in all it was a very upsetting day as we went. I hope you will fine some confort and you have no problems if you ever stay at the next Red Roof Inn. Sweat Dreams and Good Luck David

don't stay here if you can afford something else
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/29/08
Hot right when you walk in. Just had fan on person at desk. Room smelled moldy. Took a while to cool down. Dark back there. They wouldn't refund money after I saw room. I wanted to go somewhere else. They claimed manager was gone and couldn't help me. Wish I had stayed at Hampton Inn. This was my first Red Roof and probably my last. Positive reviews were a long time back. Hotel has obviously hit hard times since good reviews previously posted.

Great Value
By Lanatha, 11/14/05
I have stayed ikn this hotel twice on the way to see my daughter/ For the price you can not beat it. I stayed at the Holiday Inn close by and I payed double the price. The room for the price and for the amount of time spent in the room was unbeatable. I stgpped in at 7pm shopped alittle and got something to eat and went to bed. Stayed there going and coming back from Virginia. The staff was very friendly but they do lock the front door latter at night.

Excellant place to stay away from high way, very quiet. very good service and the rate is reasonably affordable for the quality of stay and amenities.
