Affordable Luxury

Nice staff, clean and comfortable room and beds, fantastic showers/bath, plenty of parking and easy access to west suburban roadways and attractions...would easily use again here and elsewhere.
 
 
 
 
 
Very Nice Hotel - Typical Hilton Garden Inn

I stayed in this hotel for business, as all the downtown hotels were booked. The hotel staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and generously sized. The hotel is quiet with very comfortable beds (adjustable firmness mattresses). Prices in this part of town are cheaper than downtown. The hotel offers free wireless internet access, and the pool and business center are adequate. Even though the Oakbrook Center Mall is just about 1/2 mile away, there is no good way to walk to the mall--you have to drive there. That's fine in the winter, but in the summer, I'd rather enjoy the walk outdoors. Plentiful free parking is on site. The only downfall to this hotel is that you are located just far enough away from downtown that you can't access the subway to get downtown. You need to catch the bus and then transfer to the subway, unless you want to drive. Overall, this hotel is typical of the quality you would find in a Hilton Garden Inn, and I would stay here again.

Nice, clean rooms. Offers a breakfast, but it's not free. Friendly staff. Rooms have microwave and fridge, which is a plus. I would return.
 
 
 
 
 
Pricy but good!

Hilton Inn is an excellent hotel, but could use some renovation in the suites. The hotel does not live up to the name brand it portraits...nothing wrong against the hotel, just a lot more was expected in the suites. Furthermore, breakfast was not included and was almost $10 per person...ouch! Stay at the Comfort Suites for about 30 bucks less and get a suite instead of room and get a cooked to order breakfast for just 3 bucks.

Typical but hard to find

I have to say, I've never worked so hard in my life to find a hotel as I did this one. I finally pulled into the parking lot at Oak Brook Mall and called the hotel for directions. Poor choice of TV channels. Clean room, typical Hilton Garden's room, very nice. I'd use them again if I had a meeting close - at least I know where to find them now (next to Drewry Lane Theater).
