Budget Inn Express, Gillette

Have always stayed in this motel when in Gillette. Will not stay here again. Desk clerk, young red head, was so rude & didn't know her facts before she spouted off. Pool was closed for most of the Holiday weekend. Thinking it was because the owners were gone & there was no one to do the daily requirements on it. Desk clerk knew it was closed but didn't bother to let anyone know! Will take my money else where.

nothing like a dip in the pool after a long days drive. nice location off of i90. close to bars and food too. would go back.

we arrived at 7 at night.. at 2 in the morning a fight involving 10 to 12 people broke out outside our room. fearing for our safety and our kids we left after several people were arrested. the owner promised to refund our money .and because he had my credit card he charged us.what he did is wrong and he told the lady at the front desk when we left we would get our money back. this is at 1616 Gordon highway. we are also military and he still didn't have anything to say.

Easy on off access to I-90. Indoor pool and hot tub hit the spot after a long day of driving from Omaha, NE. Saved a lot of money staying here and they have a nice breakfast in the morning. I recommend this hotel because it has all the amenities of the big chains without the sticker shock.

First thing we noticed when we got there is the doubles only have full size beds. Kind of hard to fit 3 adults and 2 kids into two full size beds, but that's partly our fault for not asking first. Our shower didn't work properly, but was fixed after we brought this to their attention. The bathroom was dirty. There was hair in the bathtub, the walls needed cleaned as well as the floor needed swept. The vent fan was not secured to the ceiling and looked like it was about to fall off. We brought all of this to the attention of the cleaning staff, but nothing was done about it. The hair dryer did not work properly (kept turning off while being used). Didn't appear that they were vacuuming very good, as there was cracker crumbs behind the entry door. The front desk staff were not very friendly either. The pool area did seem to be clean and kept up well. Although $75.00 a night is not a bad price for that area, I don't believe I would stay there again, unless they improve on the cleanliness and maintenance issues.

Dog hair all over both straight chairs in the room. Main light switch did not work as we entered the room, light bulb may be burnt out. Bath exhaust was hanging loose from the ceiling. Diry air conditioner. Didn't leave us with a good impression concerning maintenance and cleaning procedures. Service at local restaurants was very poor. Would recommend travelers to head for the next town.

I had never stayed in a Budget Inn. I got a Suite room cheaper than the other moderate priced motels I stayed in. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Nice breakfast was limited but good. Would recomend.

One of the only things I liked about your hotel is your friendly and AWLAYS willing to help front desk clerk Charity was her name if I recall correctly. The bed in my room was messy,my toilet dirty. My room was a mess. But she was Great! All the customers were always happy to see her they would walk by and smile or say hi. Hope you deal with these problems and put your customers #1 like they should be I mean after all you are running a buisness aren't you?
