Management not guest focused
Have been staying here every few weeks for 2 years.
It was a fine suburban inn up until this year (2005). Management/owners replaced managers and unfortunately several of the longstanding hotel staff who provided superior service left, and many of the new staff and managers do not.
Examples:
The highspeed internet generally crashes for hours at a time at least twice per day, in the evening and in the morning, and the front desk staff apologises but "they have nothing to do with it". When it is working, you can receive but can't send emails.
Of the 2 treadmills in exercise room, 1 is under repair for over 1 month at a time. They haven't replaced weights that were stolen over a year ago.
Under previous management which WAS guest focused, the bar stayed open past 10 pm if there was at least 1 guest. The bar now closes promptly at 10 which forces you out of the hotel if your flight gets in late (all too often due to the summer storms).
It's a shame because the place is the only hotel with a bar and restaurant close to Nike and Intel, shopping and the highway. But, if you're used to "the little things" being right - don't stay here.
