Never again
By ,
I understand that a credit card is required for incidentals (even on pre paid reservations made through hot wire) that is not the problem. The problem is the hotel (as verified by my banks) puts a 30 day hold on those funds. I have worked in the hotel industry for over 20 years and travel a lot. A 30 day hold is not standard procedure. I have used the same credit card at several other hotels and have always had the money back within 2 days including non business days.

Pretty good value
By ,
I found a great internet rate using farechase on yahoo. The hotel and room were clean and well kept, and usual Hilton quality in terms of bedding, shampoo, soap, mouthwash, etc. The refrigerator in my room was a bit noisy and the walls were less insulated than other 3 star hotels. Otherwise, no complaints. There was plenty of parking, but I didn't try the workout room. The pool was a bit smaller than some other hotels. Whirlpool was clean. All told, it was a nice stay.

Better off at a budget motel
By ,
The internet was far from hi-speed, when it worked, which was not often, and you can't send emails - only receive, and it jumps to the restaurant's website without warning and prevents you from receiving emails. The exercise room treadmills were out of order every week and over 2 months the manager said new ones were on order (week after week). The bar/restaurant closed down tight at the crack of 10 whether there were guests or not As I was checking in, the front desk clerk was bumping some guests because they gave their rooms away to a visiting sports team that under-reserved.

Definitely gone downhill

Don't stay here unless: 1. You don't care if they bump you because they have a sports travel team taking 40 rooms and you just happen to arrive late with what you thought was a guaranteed reservation. 2. You don't care that the hi-speed(?) internet only allows you to receive but not send emails. 3. You don't care that they keep shuffling managers who can't manage and take little responsibility for making things right. This place doesn't deserve to be a Hilton.

Management not guest focused
By ,
Have been staying here every few weeks for 2 years. It was a fine suburban inn up until this year (2005). Management/owners replaced managers and unfortunately several of the longstanding hotel staff who provided superior service left, and many of the new staff and managers do not. Examples: The highspeed internet generally crashes for hours at a time at least twice per day, in the evening and in the morning, and the front desk staff apologises but "they have nothing to do with it". When it is working, you can receive but can't send emails. Of the 2 treadmills in exercise room, 1 is under repair for over 1 month at a time. They haven't replaced weights that were stolen over a year ago. Under previous management which WAS guest focused, the bar stayed open past 10 pm if there was at least 1 guest. The bar now closes promptly at 10 which forces you out of the hotel if your flight gets in late (all too often due to the summer storms). It's a shame because the place is the only hotel with a bar and restaurant close to Nike and Intel, shopping and the highway. But, if you're used to "the little things" being right - don't stay here.

A little less than what is expected from a Hilton Brand
By ,
The place was nice with everthing that all hilton gardens have, but the service is not as good. We never got our wake up call and we were double charged on our credit card. Although they did fix the charge, it is just a less than what is expected from the Hilton name.
