The tiny, concrete box of a room was musty, dirty and smelled so strongly of sewage we couldn't even stay there. We left after thirty minutes. We really tried to tough it out, but as soon as we sat on the bed and noticed that they smelled very much like urine, we high-tailed it out of there. But not before we begged the management not to charge us the full amount, offering to pay some percentage, or a cleaning fee for the thirty minutes we were in the room. They went ahead and charged us the full amount. Even if it hadn't smelled like sewage the room was a terrible value. A lot better options in Tulum. I was fooled by all the positive reviews out there - don't make the mistake I did!
