Sea Watch Resort, Myrtle Beach

We have stayed at the Sea Watch for several years now, and for the past few years it has increasinly become very popular. The only thing that I did not like about it was that we were not allowed to put towels out at the pool until after 8 a.m. in the morning. They even had a security guard watching our every move to make sure that this was not done around the pool. This is the only hotel that I know of that does this in Myrtle Beach. I won't be staying there anymore.

Best of both worlds.... wife was able to shop all day while I golfed all day. At night we treated ourselves to some of the finest resturants up and down the strip. The location was great... close to everything. Very busy place but still all of our needs were handled as we expected. I'll be back again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay! Such a great place....beach is right beyond your room. So you have it all...shopping at nearby Tanger Outlet, beach, pools, Lazy River for the kids. Pool party Tuesday and Thurs for kids. A+++

I liked everything about this resort! I recommend this resort to anyone that would like to have a nice peaceful stay. This would be my first resort to stay at in MB.

Location, location, location !!! New carpet, freshly painted, soft beds, friendly staff..... NO SURPRISES ! Clean beach , close to a pier, 5 swimming pools and 8 hot tubs and selection of Golf was the BEST. Also alot of good food up and down the strip.

this was the best hotel i've sayed at for a long time! The best thing in this hotel was the rooms and basically beds. They were comfortable or atleast more comfortable than my bed at home.

We stayed for 3 nights 4 days in a 3 bedroom condo. Myself, wife and 3 teenagers. Rooms were nice and very clean. Stayed on the 8th floor ocean view, nice look at the ocean and pools. Many pools and hot tubs to pick from for latter night entertainment if you dont want to leave the resort. Resort is next to a RV park so the beach is somewhat private, not to many from the RV park venture to the beach. Ate in the resurant and the food was very good. Pasta bar was delicious. Only complaint is that wireless internet is only available in the lobby.

The elevators had a weird smell!....We had no other dislikes about this hotel...we thought it was great!! This will be our third visit...we visit every year on Easter weekend! The rooms were very clean!

I have been to various hotels in Myrtle Beach over the past 25 years, and Sea Watch was a great find. When we entered the room, it smelled fresh and was obviously recently renovated. We were off the beaten path enough to be away from teens and the boisterous beach scene but close enough to drive to new outlets within a couple of miles. The staff was exemplary and friendly. This was one of the only times I have stayed at a hotel and didn't feel grungy and dirty after hanging out in the room. The staff really takes pride in keeping the rooms spotless. Our kids (3 and 1) loved the heated indoor pools, and we loved the atmosphere. Close to everything you could want to do...dining, putt-putt, ice cream, grocery stores, and a mall were all within a few miles. (And a Bass Pro for my husband.) I would definitely recommend this hotel as one of the better places at the beach. We hope to return again in the summer!

We have been going to Myrtle Beach for years, and like so many resort towns it can be quite expensive keeping the kids entertained.Not so with the Sea Watch! They have Tom the DJ who comes in on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to entertain the guests, and he keeps the kids AND adults going with games, contests and races! I figure he saved us two trips to outside water parks and saved our family $200.00!!! Top notch entertainment at a top notch resort!!! We have already booked for 2006!
