Saved only by it's fabulous location
I've decided that there should be international guidelines and rules for the use of the word "resort" ... because this place was not what I would consider to be anything more than an old motel. The beds were so uncomfortable that I ended up with back ache and migraines. I could see why they recently added a massage therapist to their staff! I wonder which came first .. did they hire the message therapist because of the horrid beds, or buy the horrid beds to increase business for the massage therapist?!! Either way, I refused to boost their coffers any more than we already had by getting a massage considering their ridiculous room tariff (which was $115 per night, contrary to the "$75-$95" shown on their Yahoo Travel information). They had recently fitted new cabinets in the 'kitchenette' though ... how did I know this? Because there was a patch of wall at the end of the new cabinets that had no wallpaper on it. Add to that the mice that were running around under the rooms, the bugs in the bath, and the shaky, unfinished dresser that looked as though it cost $9.99 from Big Lots and I think you'll agree that this is no "resort". It's only saving grace was it's proximity to the water and lovely beach area which was great for the kids.
