Wingate by Wyndham Memphis, Memphis

We stayed in two room for I almost don't know where to start. We stayed in two room for 1 night and payed 6 times for those same two rooms. Instead of 200.00 roughly we paid 600.00 total, and that is not the worst of it. I will also shorten this for lack of time and space and children might read. We were suppose to have early check in and did not get in one of our two rooms until 5 PM. The toilets didn't work and the front desk lady told me the maintenance man was not there and neither was the manager and I was out of luck and there was no other room. Lies, all lies. The manager I come to find out comes to my room in plain clothes and does not identify himself and when I answer the door says "do you have a problem?". I asked who he was and he told me then because he was in blue jean and a white Tee shirt. Screams manager right? He then fiddles with the toilet and tells me we have to move rooms." I thought you had no rooms." Well we do now I guess. It was 11 at night and I was showered and my daughter was in bed so I told him I didn't want to move now I would just settle it in the morning. I was then told I could get out if I had a problem or he could throw me out and the other room we were staying in. Nice huh? then another man in pj's knocks on my door and asks me if I have a problem(theme here). Who are you? Maintenance man. Ahhh and he proceeds to tell me how he got woken up and has just had heart surgery and is sick and blah blah blah. then they both come in and tinker with the toilet all the while talking smack about how dare we want this fixed and how it is broken and just make it work for tonight they will replace the part later blah blah. They start to leave and then the maintenance man turns and blocks the door and tells me next time I have a problem leave his manager alone he is a nice man and we just shut the door. He then proceeds to knock on the door for a good minute or two telling us he is going to kick us out, until we said we would call the cops if he didn't go away. How dare I want a working toilet for 100.00 a night. Worst night ever and we only had that room for about 7 hours. Never again.

I like everything. Excellent service and very clean rooms. I would stay here again and again. Wingate look very nice and new property. The manager is very helpful. Breakfast is superb. It has hot and cold items

UNFRIENDLY AND UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE PRESENTATION. NO VALUE FOR CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION. JUST WANT TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF CUSTOMERS WITHOUT THE ADEQUATE SERVICES NEEDED BY THE CUSTOMERS

I really enjoy staying at the wingate inn.The price is good and the value is excellent.I will refer to my friends and family.Great location for shopping and dining
