Great breakfast-make your own belgium waffles, yogurts, fruit, juices, etc.. No bedbug sightings-clean affordable, love the suites. Perfect for families with kids. Great location. Nice friendly staff.

There was a massive infestation of bed bugs in our room that had obviously been developing for a long time. My boyfriend and I over 200 bits by the time we left. When we first talked to the manager and asked for a full refund he was very pleasant and accommodating because it was during breakfast and all the guests were right there. When we realized he only gave us a refund for one night we came down to question him and he was rude and thought it was not justified to give us a full refund. We had to argue with him for 15 minutes to get our refund. The worst part was he wouldn’t even admit it was bed bugs even though we had photos of the actual bugs taken from the room. This hotel is terrible and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone going to Disney World. The trouble I have had to endure in preventing the bed bugs from infesting my house has been very stressful plus the discomfort of the 100 itchy bits on my body. Besides the bed bugs the stove in our room did not work and was never fixed even though we requested so. Also the breakfast was the same dull eggs and sausage every day. I realize there are many positive reviews from other trip advisor personnel which I relied on when booking my stay but if you are reading this review please be advised that I relied on those reviews and ended up staying in a hotel with bed bugs. There are so many hotels in the Disney area I would strongly recommend staying away from this poorly managed bed bug infested hotel.

Had a great experience, everything was clean and well kept. Very satisfied with everything. Continental breakfast however was overrated.

When we arrive the clerk says HELLO welcome home. I was like WOW. It made us feel like home. Well anyways, you will love it here. We have two children and we got the one bedroom suite with the pull out. We had a kitchen that we cooked everyday in besides breakfast, because that was included. We saved alot of money stay here other then staying on disney property. And it has just about the same benifits as staying on the grounds of disney. The transportation was great we are the first hotel to be picked up. and the first hotel off.... Come stay here I rec. it.

I liked the available breakfast every morning and having coffee in the lobby at all hours. But, by the fourth morning we were a bit tired of the breakfast selection. The room was spacious, the price wasn't bad and we were only about 15 minutes from Universal Studios & IOA. It was too cold to swim while we were there but I enjoyed having breakfast at poolside one morning. The beds were a bit uncomfortable. They could use some upgraded mattresses. We were so tired after long days at the parks though so we still slept fine. Also, the kitchen was outdated but I didn't use anything but the refridgerator for drinks and left overs from dinner and the microwave for heating up things.

We loved the Palomino Suites. It was very roomy, as we had a 2 Queen bed suite. The room was also very clean, and was cleaned daily. The pool was chilly, but the temps were in the mid 90's when we were there, so it was fine. The check in was quick, and check out was just as quick. Staff was always polite and helpful. The breakfast was standard fare, but saved time as well as money, since we didn't have to find somewhere else to eat before heading to the parks. The walk to Apopka Vineland to the restaurants was about 15 minutes, and very pleasant. We stayed there from April 11-17, and the shuttle was never late. We had a couple more hotels to go to after they picked us up, but considering it was free, we didn't mind. What was really nice about the shuttle is that there were three different times that they picked up in the morning, and three different times to come back at night. We didn't rent a car at all, but if you want to go to Universal or SeaWorld, you'd have to, as this hotel only provided shuttle service to Disney World. The only time we took a taxi is when we stayed late to watch the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. All in all, I'd say this was a super place to stay, very reasonable price, and I'd recommend it highly to anyone looking for a little more room than a standard hotel.

The suite was clean with no smell. The suite was cleaned everyday even though we stayed a week, the hotel in general smelled very good. The location is great, close to many types of resturants (from cheap to expensive), shopping and many attractions. Close to Disney, Universal and SeaWorld. Traffic is not bad during the day but gets a little congested after sundown. The pool is very clean and nice, water is a bit chilly, but refreshing after a long day standing in line at the parks. It is a very safe area and I felt comfortable letting my teenage daughters go from the suite to the pool by together without my supervision. You have to have your rooom key to enter the hotel any where except the main entrance. There was no noise in the hallways at night time, very quite and private hotel. The breastfast is more than a stale donut and a cup of bad orange juice, it is actually a good cold type breakfast, it will hold you over until lunch, the kids won't be yelling "I'm hungry in 10 minutes". My family and I loved the suite and would stay here again, but we purchased a time share at Westgate Villas on this visit. But I would refer all my family and friends here.

Find somewhere else to stay!!....When we arrived for check in our room was not ready; they told us to come back in an hour; we came back two hours later after 4:30p.m. and our room was still not ready! In addition to when we did finally get checked in they tried to bill us an extra $50/night from our original quote. The last incident was when our Sea World tickets (3) were stolen from our room. There are no safes in the room here! No question about it, they were taken. When we filed a complaint; it took us 2 days to get to speak to the manager, who refused to compensate us in any way for our loss. We ended up filing a police report and paid another $180 for tickets. The manager did tell us that there is a safe in the office we could have used. We were unaware of this accomodation; in addition how would one safe accomodate a whole hotel? The 'free' shuttle service was late everyday and by the time you make the stops at all the other hotels, plan on an hour to get to the 'minutes away Disney parks'. We strongly suggest to stay somewhere else for the money you pay here. Just terrible!

This was my first time going to this hotel, and the stay was excellent. The hotel was very clean, there was no smell in the rooms.... The beds are very clean and no smell...My daughter enjoyed her stay.. There are different kind of restaurant just 1/2 mile down the road and shopping is just 1 mile away,,,it is close to all attraction....I went there in December of 2006, and made a reservation again for 2007. My entire family loved it...

Check in was a tad slow but not too bad. However they put us in a Handicapped room by mistake. This was remedied quickly. The room was clean and large and comfortable. Wireless worked well. Breakfast was typical continental Disney hotel style. Not very good but passable. We didn't use the pool or anything else.
