Comfort Suites Innsbrook, Glen Allen

I had around 50-100 bites all over my body and face. I brought the issue up with the front desk that just responded "we are sorry, it happens". No hint of customer service. I didn't even get a discount on the room.

The hotel was ok. The room could have been cleaned a little better. There was one bug during my stay. The bathroom needs updating. The breakfast is satisfactory; however, be sure to get there early. The staff was nice. The area is very peaceful. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the convenience of a late checkout. I would pick another chain for the money paid. This hotel is good for a short stay of two days.

The room was very nice, but the price left a lot to be desired. The breakfast was satisfactory, and there was and has been a leak in the room with the vending machines the last two times that I've visited. But, if you leave an article in the room just count it as a loss. It will not be returned and when you question the staff about it, they will circle the wagons and accuse YOU of lying. This will be my last time paying $90 for an overnight stay at this hotel. I will be taking my business across the road.

Great Breakfast that is included, included bacon or sausage with eggs & waffles that you can make. In afternoons returned to find in the breakfast area free snacks including Hot Wings or other items with free soda or Beer. Room was clean and staff were friendly! Highly recommend.

Having stayed at a wonderful Comfort Inn (in Bowie, MD) two nights prior to my stay at the Comfort Suites in Glen Allen I was expecting a lot more. The hallways were very dirty as was the elevator which gave me a bad impression from the start. There was construction work in the hallways which is fine but normally you’ll see a “pardon our dust” sign alerting the customers of hotel improvements. I didn’t see a sign anywhere and when I enquired about it at the front desk the clerk just shrugged it off. I wasn’t sure if that meant the construction was a temporary or permanent situation. When I got to my room my "suite" was merely a small wall dividing the bedroom from the "living room" with a cheap looking sofa/bed. The light bulb on the right side of the bed did not work. The bathroom had hair and dirt on the floor. This may be really picky but even the paint on the door in the bathroom was a streaky mess, like a 3 year old had painted it. The room itself was very moist/humid. It had been a cool few days so I didn’t feel like the room should have been as damp as it was. Even the sheets felt damp. I didn’t sleep particularly well because of this. The breakfast in was adequate compared to most “free continentals” but I did enjoy the waffles. I drove past many nice hotels on my way to the Comfort Suites in Glen Allen and wish I had reserved one of those instead.

The room was nice and clean, fair accomidations for the rate paid. However, the breakfast offered was really below average. At a half-hour prior to the posted stop time, there was no milk out (had to be re-filled), no bagels, limited to only two (sugar) cereals (dispenser was broke), and the single waffle-maker machine was very slow. Overall, the attendant just couldn't (or wouldn't) keep the breakfast items out for the guests...she was always trying to catch-up and seemed much more interested in getting it all cleaned-up than serving the guests...and this was 30 mins prior to the "stop" time (10:00 am). The attendant, when found/located, just had a non-pleasant attitude and really didn't seemd to care about making all items available. Decent hotel/location, not so good continental breakfast offering! We stayed a Saturday evening (Sunday b'fast).

The hotel isn't bad, but not worth the price. Amerisuites was cheaper, but much nicer. I stayed in the jaccuzzi suite, large but empty. The kitchen was great, everything was clean. Just cracked chaulking in the tub, the table...the hotel looks great but the rooms don't match. Not sure about anything else because I didn't get breakfast or anything else. And internet connection was very weak.

Good value for money. Has decent rooms and a free snacks + wine/beer in the evenings. Breakfast is free, though the amount and choice are very limited.

This hotel was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. There was a refrigerator and microwave in our room. We had a separate seating and work area. The community kitchen area for morning complimentary breakfast was well attended and very clean. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Clean, AWESOME BREAKFAST, friendly....just great! (: I'm supposed to write 25 words, but I don't know what to write. Go there. It's really good. hmm. GO!
